Phytoderm Cleansing Oil

Love how soft my skin feels after using this. Not sure about the price point, but it certainly does feel luxury! It was able to remove my foundation, eye makeup, and most mascara so I'd say it does it's job well.

When I first tried this cleansing oil, I was very impressed how it was able to get rid of all my makeup. I would normally have a full face makeup with sunscreen and it'll have to use my cleanser several time before to rinse off everything. This cleansing oil was able to do that on the first time, even with heavy mascara. It's gentle on the skin, even around the eyes area, I didn't feel any irritations. It's made with nourishing ingredients that leaves my skin feeling soft and without residue. This is a good reliable cleanser that's been added to my skincare routine.

Since the 2-step cleaning method has taken hold and the use of oil to remove makeup, I decided to try this. It is very gentle and removes my makeup. I then follow with the Hydramucine Cleanser which I have used for many years. My skin feels fresh and clean. I have used many of GM Collin products for over 10 years and am very happy with all of them. I just wish I had discovered them when I was in my 50's. I highly recommend GM Collin products.

This oil cleanser is amazing. It works great for my sensitive skin. It removes all of my makeup without irritation. My skin has improved ever since I started using this product. Would highly recommend this for sensitive skin girlies.

I am new to cleansing oils, but have tried a few different brands. This one by GM COLLIN works well, but I do feel the need to follow up with a regular facial cleanser after using it to get that actual clean feeling. It is easy to dispense and to apply to my face, it doesn’t leave my skin too oily, but I do have normal skin for reference. Overall, I do like this cleanser and think it works well.

I definitely adore this oil cleanser. One of the biggest things I look for when picking out an oil cleanser is how well it emulsifies when I go to rinse it off, and this one does such a good job. I do always follow it up with a foam cleanser, but regardless, I’m not left with an oily film on my skin. It takes off even my most stubborn waterproof mascaras which is a *huge* win for me because I used to have to buy special products for that purpose alone. It’s also gentle enough not to irritate my sensitive skin. So overall, I definitely recommend this and will be purchasing it again.

For starters, I have combination skin, but it is mostly oily. I am not a fan of cleansers that do not suds up, and this is one of them. It feels like it does not get my skin as clean as others that do. That said, this works really well at removing my makeup, including my waterproof mascara. This is the reason I went ahead and gave it 4 stars. I use this to remove my makeup, then I will use my regular cleanser to actually clean with. I would still recommend it for removing makeup!

I use sunscreen every day and on most days, I would add a skin tint on top of it. Given my oily skin, it is therefore really important for me to properly cleanse my skin at the end of the day to remove all traces of product and sebum, in order to keep my skin fresh and clear. This works very well as part of my double-cleansing routine at night. It removes product effectively and has enough slip so you dont need to use a lot to clean your whole face. It also rinses away effectively and quickly, so on days when Ive been home all day and my skin isnt as oily, I find that this works very well even on its own without a second step in my cleansing routine.

Worked well on my sensitive skin. Some oil cleansers leave oily residue but this one was very lightweight. No greasy feeling and cleans make up off very well.There is no scent and the cleanser feels gentle of my skin. It removes my waterproof sunscreen as well as my foundation in one step.

Oh, how I love this cleanser! I am one of those people who always seem to have a "film" or "residue" left behind with every cleanser I use. However, this one leaves no residue whatsoever. It is a very light 'gel' consistency, as it is a cleansing "oil". I use three pumps, and that's all I need to clean my face. This cleanser doesn't foam up, but you can see it on your skin. There is no scent to it (I don't mind if it's with or without). Also, I have dehydrated skin, and this cleanser leaves my face feeling very hydrated. It removes all of my face makeup, but I use a separate makeup remover for my mascara, as it is very waterproof, and I prefer a non-oil product for that. The advertisement for this product notes that you can use it as step 1 in a double-cleanse routine or on its own. I have never needed to use an additional cleansing product. This one does the trick. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I discovered this cleanser. For comparison, I typically use dermatologist-recommended cleansers. They still leave residue on my face. For a basic, cleansing face wash, I highly recommend

So I have mixed feelings about this cleanser. While it is great for makeup removal it isnt so great if you already have oily skin. So the solution I have come up with is using this during my night time regimen when I apply my moisturizer that way whatever excess oil can pair with my moisturizer and then be washed off in the morning. Again since I have oily skin already I found this to be the best way for me to use this cleanser. So if youre not someone with oily skin this will probably be great as is for you.

I was looking for something that could really take off waterproof makeup and sunscreen without stripping my skin and this does exactly that.It feels silky when you apply it to dry skin and it melts everything down really well. Even the stubborn stuff like long-wear mascara comes off easily. When you add water it turns into a light milky texture that rinses off cleanly without leaving any greasy feeling behind. My skin actually feels soft and hydrated afterward, not tight or dry like it does with some other cleansers.I usually follow up with a gentle foaming cleanser at night but honestly, on lighter makeup days this oil cleanser on its own is enough. Its effective but still feels gentle and nourishing which I appreciate, especially since my skin can be a bit sensitive.Definitely a product Ill keep in rotation. If youre looking for a cleansing oil that removes everything while still being kind to your skin, this ones worth trying.

This is a fantastic facial oil. It looks and feels luxe and like a quality product. The bottle has a pump dispenser and is an attractive slim design with a matte frosted finish. The feel of the oil on the skin is smooth and creamy. A little goes a long way. There is no scent which I prefer. It left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated and was non irritating for my sensitive skin. It didnt break me out and was effective at removing makeup. It felt nourishing and was a very enjoyable experience for me. I believe it is a good value for the price and should last a long time. Quality product, gentle and effective- 5 stars!

This GM Collin makeup cleansing oil works really well.I love that it's not messy or super runny when in use.The consistency is same as lightweight oil and it stays put on my face (not running down my fingers like some balms, when they come in contact with make up).I found 4 pumps to be enough to take off my full face of makeup.The packaging guves gives luxury vibes.At the time of this review, it was $44 which is a bit pricey, but it is a pricey line of products the brand produces.In all, i would definitely repurchase. Super pleased with it.

Im pleasantly surprised with this cleansing oil as it removes sunscreen and makeup with ease. Like usual with these 1st step oil cleansers, you apply it to a dry face with dry hands. Once youve smoothed it around your skin to dissolve the layers of sunscreen and makeup, you can add water. I follow it up with a foaming cleanser.I do think its a bit pricey. It contains fairly basic squalane, jojoba oil and argan oil as the oil blend.

I use this cleansing oil to remove my eyemakeup each night. One pump in my fingertips and smooth over my eyes and my eye makeup melts off. I follow with a dab on a disposable wash cloth, wash my face with cera-ve and dry with the disposable wash cloth. Clean and no greasy feel. If you are wearing eye make and want an easy removal, cleansing oil is the answer!

This cleansing oil is super gentle and effective at removing makeup and impurities. One pump is enough to cover my whole face, and the bottle is a good size so I know that it will last me awhile. As someone with sensitive skin, I experienced no irritation or redness with this oil. On the contrary, my skin feels so soft, refreshed and clean afterwards. I am a huge fan of the double cleansing method, and this is the perfect oil to use for that. It's also unscented, which is a plus in my books. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be purchasing again in the future.

The cleanser is very mild and soft to skin. It is very moisturizing and wouldnt leave an oily layer or over drying after using it. I also enjoy the scent too. I hope it comes in a bigger bottle. Will be back to buy the same one.

Clear and refreshing, but with the warning I didn't want to get near my eyes, so just but some product on a cloth and washed cheeks, chin, and neck only. I have sensitive skin, and I was fine. Please make face products that don't warn about getting into the eyes.

This cleansing oil is really nice to use, although I prefer a solid cleansing balm for it's texture over this. I use 1-2 pumps depending on how much makeup I have on, gently apply after removing my waterproof mascara, rinse off with water before following with a foaming face cleanser. My skin feels very clean yet hydrated after using this cleansing oil, never does it feel dry. Removes full coverage makeup easily. Only complaint I have is the price point, just too pricey to justify using every day especially when there are more cost effective options out there (k-beauty brands).

I have dry, sensitive skin and have learned over the years through much trial and error what ingredients tend to cause issues. I've never used a cleansing oil before, so I can't compare this product to other cleansing oils, but I've been pretty happy overall with it. It's very gentle and easy to apply. I don't wear makeup, but I definitely use sunscreen, and this cleanser is great for cleaning my face after I've been out and about, especially on hot days. The price seems pretty steep for what you get, but again, I haven't tried products like this before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It works well for my skin, and is a great gentle cleanser to have in my rotation of cleansers. Most of the time I don't need a super deep clean - this removes the oil and sweat and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

I got this to use as a makeup remover to wash my makeup off before I wash my face at the end of the day. It takes off makeup well and does not leave residue. I usually go for a a natural makeup look, so you may need more product if you use full coverage products.

This is one of the easiest to work with cleansing oils I've tried out in recent memory. In the past, I have tried out thinner oils that didn't feel as effective without using more, and thicker oils that worked well, but didn't emulsify as nicely. This cleansing oil succeeds at being the best of both worlds. It feels very lightweight, and 2 pumps feels like it's all I need to get it spread across my face and really worked into any sunscreen and/or BB cream I used that day. Once mixed with water to form a milky emulsion, it washes off the face easily. It leaves my face feeling soft without the residue feeling some cleansers have that makes me question whether I managed to rinse all of it off. I usually double cleanse anyway, but somehow it doesn't feel as "needed" when using this oil.The oil has no discernable scent at all, which is perfect by me. I have had no breakouts or other reactions to this product after a few weeks of use, though my skin isn't normally too sensitive anyway. The price is a little tricky to justify and ALMOST makes me hesitate to give it 5 stars. Other oils can cost half as much and do the job just as well with some of the caveats mentioned above. But if you have the extra money and want the easiest oil cleanse you can have, this might just be it.

Cest la deuxime huile dmaquillante que jachte, et dans lensemble, je laime bien! Elle est inodore, incolore, et ne laisse pas la peau trop grasse mme aprs le rinage. J'aime quand une huile dmaquillante hydrate sans laisser de sensation grasse et celle-ci semble avoir une bonne balance ce niveau. J'ai une peau sensible et cette huile me convient, je n'ai pas de mauvaise raction!Elle est efficace pour enlever le maquillage du visage, mais jai remarqu quelle a du mal avec le mascara : je dois souvent nettoyer la rgion des yeux 2 3 fois pour tout faire partir le mascara qui se transfre sous les yeux. Je dois donc utiliser quelques pompes du produit chaque fois. Mon autre huile d'une autre marque peut faire partir le mascara plus rapidement.Petite mise en garde pour celles qui ont tendance faire des taches pigmentaires : les produits base dhuile comme celui-ci peuvent augmenter le risque d'en dvelopper car ils attirent un peu plus le soleil, surtout sils sont utiliss sans bonne protection solaire.Je ne sais pas si je vais en faire mon produit rcurrent pour me dmaquiller car il est un peu plus dispendieux et j'essaie de m'loigner des produits base d'huile cause des taches pigmentaires, mais j'apprcie beaucoup qu'il soit fabriqu au Qubec.
