Dark Spot Serum

This G.M. COLLIN Dark Spot Face Serum glides onto my skin and a little goes a long way. It has a smooth and lightweight texture. It absorbs after only a few minutes but it's different from any serum I've ever used. I've been using it and can see a difference in the dark spot on my chin. It's lightened it and I'm glad that I read about it and did my due diligence because if not, I'd be using it every day.

Ive not heard of or used this brand before but I was interested in trying it since I like any skin serums and products with licorice in the formulation for evening out skin tone. This serum also contains some other goodies that are well-known for effectively fading melasma and unwanted pigmentation (from acne, sun, or aging), like Tranexamic Acid, Azeloyl Diglycinate (a water-soluble derivative of Azelaic Acid),My only problem with this serum is that it does contain fragrance, although its fairly low in the ingredient list (meaning its not as concentrated) but thats not noted anywhere in the description so I could have avoided it had I known that as I dont like added fragrance in my skincare personally.I have tried this every evening so far after washing my face and using a water essence (artemisia extract), followed by my usual PM moisturizer. No issues so far but I expect the fading of acne spots and sun damage to take a few weeks (4 - 6 weeks at least). Make sure to use sunscreen everyday while using this serum if you want the best and most noticeable results!

I recently swapped this instead of my Vitamin C in my morning skincare routine. I've used one full bottle and did reorder. I noticed that it definitely removes new dark spots (stubborn pimples / blackheads that leave a spot), and I believe that it is fading my old scars, but I'm not 100 percent sure. I probably need to take photos to compare. I do have acne prone skin and this has not broken me out. It feels really nice going on too!

I've been using this serum to try to get rid of some stubborn dark spots from acne scars. So far it seems like it's slowly working but I'll need to use it for a longer time before I can notice an actual difference. The serum itself is kind of pricey since you don't get that much product for the price. My face isn't irritated when using this though so that's a plus. I like how there isn't much scent in this product since I don't enjoy fragrance. Overall the serum is pretty good quality which explains the high price for it.

I’ve been using this serum for a few weeks, and I do notice my skin looks a bit brighter and more even overall. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel sticky, which makes it easy to layer under moisturizer.The formula is gentle—I haven’t experienced irritation, even with daily use. That said, for darker or older spots, the improvement has been subtle so far. It seems like it will take consistent use over time to see bigger changes.Overall, a nice serum for brightening and radiance, but don’t expect overnight results.

I like that this serum absorbs quickly and is not irritating I use it at night, alternating with a prescription acne serum and have still had good acne control while targeting dark spots. I have some melasma spots on my face I was hoping this serum would help with. It hasn’t quite had the effect I was hoping for (not surprising, I’ve needed laser and chemical peels in the past to fade those dark spots). Overall I think this product does a good job nourishing my skin and preventing dark spots, but it can only do so much. The price point is a bit restrictive for me… I don’t know that I could justify the price for the limited benefit I seem to be getting from this serum.

This product worked very well for me. I've done the full cycle of using it a couple times now and I can see some great results. The product is very watery so it can be a bit of a challenge to handle, but it comes with a handy dropper to apply easier. The instructions say to use it two times a year for a period of 30 days each. I can say my skin has a more even tone and one of my brown spots has almost completely disappeared. One thing to note is that you probably want to read the instructions from start to finish as this stuff can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. This is why they suggest applying it in the evening after a cleansing routine. I will continue to use this but probably spread out the cycles more as I did both within 6 months. Will try to do one in the early fall and one in the spring and see how it goes, but so far so good, very happy with the results.

As we age the human skin goes through changes to include wrinkling and pigment alterations. I was begging to get dark spots on my forehead and above my top lip. The area above my lip was easy, just grow a mustache, but the forehead was hard to hide, even with growing my hair to cover it. My wife ordered the G.M. COLLIN Dark Spot Face Serum for me so I gave it a shot. I used it every day, twice a day for the past 3 months. I've had noticeable results in that the dark spots have faded to the point that only I notice them because I know where they were. Anybody I ask says they don't see anything. Overall it's even out my skin tone almost completely and I'm confident that with continued use even I won't see any spots. Just 2 or 3 drops for each use does the trick. It's been 3 months and I've probably ony used slightly more than half the 1 ounce bottle. It's working so well that I'll be ordering another bottle when I get low. Great results

This works well on stubborn sun spots on my face. I do see an improvement and the bottle isn't finished yet. I have sensitive skin and this hasn't caused any issue or irritation.

At first, when I started using this product, I put too much on and it irritated my skin. When I started putting less, then I felt better about it. I don't have too many dark spots to notice a difference, but, after using it for a month, my skin tone looks more even. This face serum is a bit perfumy which I didn't like but the smell disappears as it soaks into your skin.

While this serum is indeed pricey, it's one of the best feeling serums that I've tried and I can anecdotally feel the difference. I honestly didn't want to like this as much as I do as it will lead to expensive maintenance in the long run, but I can understand the high cost. While this is not a brand you see often in stores, I have seen it in salons or with estheticians. The fact that this is a Canadian company that actually manufactures its products in Montreal is icing on the cake.

This serum leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and it has truly evened out my skin tone. It comes with a glass dropper so its easy to apply. The consistency of the serum is very light, it absorbs quickly and my skin doesnt feel greasy or sticky afterwards - just slightly tacky. I have sensitive skin and didnt experience any irritation with it. Its also practically unscented, it has a really faint scent but its barely noticeable. I absolutely recommend this gentle and effective serum.

This is a facial serum for dark spots. In my life I have two kinds of pigmentation problems.flat areas that are just darker than my typical skin tone and raised age spots which are also darker. I found that after several weeks of using this serum, the flat hyperpigmented spots had faded considerably. I found less success with the darker raised age spots. This is a better result than I have had with other dark spot products. I will keep using this to minimize the impact of spots. Serum is thick enough that its easy to use.

This face serum is really nice. It definitely has a luxury and high-end look and feel. The ingredients are all really amazing for truly fading dark spots. It feels great on my skin and it also made my skin feel really soft after applying it.

There are many different types of licorice extract serums available on the market, and some are for a fraction of the price of this one, after a cursory search. To that end, I can't help but suspect that there are products that provide a better balance of value and effectiveness. That said, I have started to notice visible results after applying this product (perhaps a 30% improvement over a few days). There are many different types of serums available - some more "superficial" than others at covering dark spots, such "BB" mineral cream, which this isn't. This product appears to work more beneath the surface, as the liquid itself is clearer. With all of that in mind, the product appears to work as advertised, and I expect further results to show through after continued use.

Nice serum with a light consistency. Not too sticky. Fully absorbs in a few minutes and allows for a moisturizer over it. Works well in my skin care routine at night. Would recommend to others.

The serum is viscous, but not sticky. It absorbed quickly and well, not leaving a tacky feel. With thin, dry, sensitive skin I felt no harsh tingle or burn. The scent is neutral but pleasant and barely detectable. Have I seen some improvement in my dark spots, yes, I believe so but it is early days yet. As they are fairly prominent on my cheeks, it will be noticeable. I am,as usual finishing with sunblock.

Feels good on my skin, doesn't cause irritation or itching and helps retain moisture. Make sure to read the instructions, this one isn't meant to be used indefinitely.

As a mature woman, I am using this serum with another serum that is hydrating, so I get the benefit of hydrating while tackling uneven skin tone. I am scent sensitive and this does not have a scent. I only started using it, but so far, I really like it. I put this on my freshly cleaned face, and once absorbed, then the hydrating toner, moisturizer and sunscreen.

As I age, Ive noticed dark spots appearing on my face. Eliminating them can be challenging, but this serum is incredibly effective in fading those spots and improving my complexion and tone. It seems to have prevented potential future spots, which I know are caused by sun exposure from my younger years. Im thoroughly impressed with how well the serum has transformed my skin, making it smoother, brighter, and with an even tone. This Serum is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

I started using this product 2 days ago and I already my skin (my face) fresh and refreshed and moisturized. I can't quite describe it, it leave a good feeling that seems to last for more than 12 hours after using it. It feels like a good balanced formula. I will update after 30 days as the company recommended - to use for 1 month then again 6 months later-twice a year.

At first look the sticker price might hold some people back, since youre only supposed to use it for one month twice a year, it actually doesnt seem so bad. This serum feels really lightweight and silky when I put it on. It sinks in nicely without making my skin greasy. I did notice it felt a little tacky at first, but once it dries, that goes away. I love that the ingredients are safe. I have super sensitive skin and havent had any redness or irritation at all. Theres barely any scent, which is a big deal for me because Im pretty picky about synthetic fragrance in skincare. I know dark spots take time to fade, so Im not expecting overnight results. Since this serum feels so gentle, Im happy to keep using it and see what happens.

I've had these brownish spots on my cheekbones from too much sun exposure in my twenties and they've been bugging me for years. This serum has niacinamide and licorice extract which I read are good for lightening pigmentation. The texture is nice - not too thick or watery, and it layers well under my moisturizer and makeup. I've been using it every night for about 2 months now and honestly didn't expect much since I've tried other "spot correcting" products before with no luck.But this one actually seems to be working slowly. The spots aren't completely gone but they're definately less noticeable now. My overall skin tone looks more even too which is a bonus I wasn't expecting. The bottle is on the smaller side so it goes pretty quick if you're using it on your whole face like me instead of just spot treating. It's pricier than drugstore options but the quality feels worth it - no irritation or breakouts which can happen with some actives for me.

I have been using GM Collin for at least 25 years now, and it's the only product I use for my skin. This Dark Spot Serum really works. I am very happy with my purchase. It's truly worth the money.

I am about to hit a major milestone as an older person, and this past year I've started noticing small age spots on my skin. I am using this product to spot-treat the problem areas, and while normally I would balk at the price ($100 at the time of ordering) if this does the job, it will be worth it for sure. The serum goes on very liquid and does take a bit to dry, with a slight sticky feeling to it once it is dry. I've had no reaction to this on my sensitive skin, which is a good outcome so far. With the strength of this product, I will be using sunscreen for sure. I have not used it long enough to see the advertised results, but it truly is a nice serum in my experience so far.
